Calling All Nuclear Energy Managers: Help Shape the Future of Workplace Well-Being

Are you a manager in the U.S. commercial nuclear energy industry with firsthand experience managing engagement and well-being—both yours and your team’s? Join my research study to explore how workplace psychosocial factors impact your well-being and your ability to create a supportive climate for employee psychological health.

I’m seeking 10 managers in the U.S. commercial nuclear energy industry interested in participating in this voluntary research study on psychosocial safety climate among managers in the nuclear energy industry.

Who Can Participate? You’re eligible if you meet the following criteria:

  • Managers currently employed in the U.S. commercial nuclear energy industry at an operating nuclear facility or in a corporate office function of an operating nuclear fleet (excluding U.S. Department of Defense nuclear facilities)
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the U.S. commercial nuclear energy industry (excluding U.S. Department of Defense nuclear facilities)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a manager in the U.S. commercial nuclear energy industry(manager defined as above a first line supervisor but below a senior leader or executive)
  • Personal experience with psychological strain (i.e., feelings of burnout) and psychological well-being (i.e., feelings of engagement) from psychosocial factors in the workplace within the last 5 years

What’s Involved? A 90-minute online interview via Zoom/Teams
