The NEXT Leaders in Nuclear

Spring 2024

The Nuclear Executives of Tomorrow (NEXT) Program’s fifth cohort, NEXT24, is rounding the final corner of their year-long enrollment in the joint U.S. Women in Nuclear and Nuclear Energy Institute executive training program for women in the nuclear industry. The group recently attended an in-person session in Atlanta, GA at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) headquarters. The ladies of NEXT24 had the chance to meet with industry leaders and spend time working on their capstone projects that will be presented at the 2024 U.S. WIN National Conference in July where they will be reunited for a final time to present their work.

Additionally, the NEXT program expanded with the pilot of the NEXT·UP Program which aims to provide the spirit of the original NEXT program with a broader reach to more women interested in growing as nuclear executives. This expedited program had two virtual and one in-person session with over 96% attendance in its first year.
