U.S. Women in Nuclear Expands the Leadership Team in 2025

It is with great excitement that we welcome Maureen Zawalick, Vice President of PG&E, and Amanda Stewart, Chemical Engineer at MPR Associates, as the newest members of the U.S. Women in Nuclear Steering Committee. Both Maureen and Amanda bring a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to our organization, which will further strengthen our efforts to represent a diverse and dynamic community of nuclear professionals. Their dedication to advancing the nuclear industry and advocating for women within it aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are thrilled to have them join us on this journey.

 

Maureen and Amanda’s extensive experience, totaling over 40 years of combined service to the nuclear sector, is a testament to their commitment to both professional excellence and the empowerment of women in the industry. Maureen’s leadership as Vice President at PG&E and Amanda’s technical expertise at MPR Associates are just a glimpse of the incredible contributions they will bring to the table. Their perspectives and insights will undoubtedly help propel our strategic initiatives forward, and their guidance will be invaluable in ensuring the continued success of U.S. Women in Nuclear. Amanda was the chair of the U.S. WIN Professional Development Committee from 2018 through 2021.
